Choosing the Right Protection
All of our customizable suits come with a built-in CE Level 2-certified back protector. You can also choose RXR technology for even greater protection.
Level 2 back protector, integrated and removable so it can be taken off or replaced.
Built-in, removable R2O protection or AIRBACK back protector with shoulder straps.
The R2O Integrated and AIRBACK back protectors with shoulder straps combine non-Newtonian foam with air cushions to enhance shock absorption.
This technology offers a high level of protection while maintaining comfort and freedom of movement, both on the road and on the track.
All MATT RACING customizable leather products are compatible with the leading airbags on the market that use In&Motion or Alpinestars Tech-Air technologies.
The cut, the extra centimeters, and the gussets are tailored to fit your own gear.
As part of the “custom-made” process, if you already own an airbag, you will be asked to wear it during the video conference measurement session. The first fitting prototype will then be crafted with the necessary volume to ensure proper deployment.
The HELITE vest provides full protection from the spine to the hips, as well as stabilization of the neck and head. It compresses the torso, providing greater resistance to hyperextension.
Its exclusive technology also protects internal organs such as the chest, lungs, pancreas, abdomen, stomach, and liver.
The system is built into the space between the leather and the lining to remain as discreet as possible.
A button on the arm allows you to turn on the system and select either road or track mode.
With 18 liters of protection, the integrated HELITE Race Suit system sets a new standard. It requires no subscription; after a crash, it can be reset by replacing the cartridge and resetting the electronic card located in the aerodynamic bulge.
Kangaroo leather is thinner, lighter, and more supple than cowhide, with even more vibrant colors. Depending on the size, it can reduce the weight of a suit by up to 3 kg or more.
Thanks to our strategic leather and Kevlar reinforcements, it offers an excellent balance between lightness, comfort, and performance. In fact, it’s the top choice for many championship riders, as well as many female riders. Once you’ve tried it, it’s hard to go back: the comfort is almost like wearing pajamas.
The only downside is that its abrasion resistance is slightly lower than that of cowhide. However, this trade-off is more than offset by its many advantages in terms of lightness, flexibility, and comfort.
With our custom-fit process, your first fitting suit is still made from AAA-certified cowhide leather. Its purpose is to validate and refine your measurements before the final suit is manufactured, all while keeping costs under control.
After purchase, you will have 6 months to finalize your order if it was placed during a promotional period, and 12 months outside of promotional periods. This means that we must have received and approved all measurements and your design before the end of this period. If this deadline passes, rest assured that nothing is lost, but your order will be subject to a price adjustment based on the current non-promotional rates in order to continue with your order process.
Kangaroo leather is thinner, lighter, and more elastic than cowhide. It’s like wearing pajamas! We can save up to 3 kg with kangaroo leather, depending on the rider’s size. It is, however, slightly more susceptible to abrasion, but rest assured: the reason most championship riders choose our kangaroo leather is that its advantages far outweigh these drawbacks.
Yes, of course! We are certified by FFM, FIM, and DORNA.
The BLACK Edition suit is available only in standard sizes and cannot be customized in terms of “design” or “colors.”
However, you can add your partners' logos (optional)!
Both the Mercury suit and the MXRS suit can be customized in terms of “colors” only. They feature a well-defined design, and your partners' logos can be added (optional). You can see the difference between the two models in the images on each “product” page.
The GP suit, on the other hand, is 100% customizable in terms of “colors,” “logos,” and “design.”
On every MATT RACING product, the brand’s logos cannot be moved or removed.
Yes! Each suit includes a removable back protector sewn into the lining—CE Level 1 certified for BLACK Edition suits and custom-fit suits, and CE Level 2 certified for custom suits.
If you have an TechAir or In&Motion-type airbag vest that already has a built-in back protector, we recommend removing our back protector from its slot.
Please note: For track days, we recommend bringing a rigid back protector that attaches to your body (via shoulder straps or webbing), as requirements vary by organizer and track. Additionally, as with the airbag vest, if you have a back protector with shoulder straps, we recommend removing our back protector from its slot.
The CE AAA standard is the highest standard for protective gear. MATT RACING is proud to be one of the first brands to achieve this standard for customizable gear.

You can pay for your order in 3 or 4 installments at no extra charge, or in up to 10 installments (with shared fees) on our website through the credit management company Alma or PayPal, depending on your eligibility.
The first fitting suit is designed to validate your measurements and fine-tune them for your final custom suit. We strongly recommend that you ride in the fitting suit to thoroughly break in the leather, so that we can receive dynamic and constructive feedback for the production of your final suit.
However, if your final suit does not fit properly, MATT RACING will cover the cost of alterations. Your request must be made within 14 days of receiving your custom suit and after you have ridden in it and broken in the leather.
We will then request certain measurements to verify the issue and understand what happened, and we will fully cover the cost of making the necessary adjustments.
This fitting suit is used to verify your measurements and adjust them for your final, custom-made wetsuit. If you later wish to have the fitting wetsuit altered, we can provide you with a quote for alterations at a reduced cost.
We can, of course, provide you with a quote for alterations to your suit or a new suit with the same design, at a reduced cost depending on your needs and technical feasibility. To find out more, please send us your alteration request along with photos via email to contact@matt-racing.com
