PERFORMANCE:
Its leather is microperforated at the collarbones. This microperforation can be applied to the entire front of the chest on request. With Kevlar and rubber reinforcements on the arms, an aerodynamic hump is available as an option for a "Racing" effect, but is not recommended if you're riding with a backpack. A full zip is supplied with the jacket, for assembly with your leather pants.

Frequently asked questions
How much time do I have to finalize the process ?
After purchase, you will have 6 months if your order was placed during a promotional period, and 12 months outside promotional periods, to finalize your order. In other words, we must have received and validated all the measurements and your model before the end of this period. After that, rest assured, nothing is lost, but your order will be subject to a price adjustment based on the current rates outside the current promotion period, so that you can continue with your order process.
What's the difference between cowhide and kangaroo leather ?
Kangaroo leather is finer, lighter and more elastic than cowhide. A real pyjama! We can save up to 3kg with kangaroo leather, depending on size. On the other hand, it is slightly more fragile to abrasion, but rest assured, if most championship riders take kangaroo leather from us, it's because these advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
What are the differences between our jacket models ?
The BLACK Edition jacket is only available in standard sizes, and cannot be customized in terms of design or color.
However, you can add your partners' logos (optional)!
The ROAD Mercury jacket is color-customizable only. It has a well-defined design, and your partners' logos can be added (optional).
The ROAD GP jacket is 100% customizable in color, logo and design.
On every MATT RACING product, the brand logos cannot be moved or removed.
Is there an integrated back protector in the jackets ?
Yes, you'll find a removable back protector in the lining of every jacket, CE level 1 for BLACK Edition jackets and fitting jackets, and CE level 2 for custom jackets.
If you have an In&Motion-type airbag vest that already has an integrated liner, we recommend removing our liner from its slot. Like the airbag vest, if you have a back protector with shoulder straps, we advise you to remove our back protector from its slot.
What is the CE AAA standard our jackets carry ?
CE AAA is the highest standard for protective equipment. MATT RACING is proud to be one of the first brands to obtain this standard on customizable equipment.
This makes your MATT RACING equipment the safest, customizable motorcycle protection on the market!
Can I pay in instalments ?
You can pay for your order up to 4X free of charge on our website via the credit management company Alma or PAYPAL.
What can I do if the size of my custom jacket doesn't suit me ?
The 1st adjustment jacket of the Zen option is there to validate your measurements and adjust them for the final personalized jacket. It's imperative that you ride with the adjustment jacket and relax the leather, so as to get dynamic, constructive feedback for the final jacket.
In spite of this, if your final jacket does not fit, MATT RACING will take care of the alterations to your jacket. Your request must be made within 14 days of receiving your personalized jacket and after having ridden with it and relaxed the leather.
Some measurements will then be requested for verification and understanding of what has happened, and full responsibility will be taken for any necessary adjustments.
Can I have the fitting jacket altered if it doesn't fit ?
This fitting jacket is used to validate your measurements and adjust them for the final personalized jacket. If you'd like to have the fitting jacket altered at a later date, we can offer you a low-cost estimate for alterations.
If my measurements change, can I have my jacket altered ?
We can, of course, offer you a quotation for the reworking of your jacket or a new jacket with an identical design, at a lower cost depending on your needs and technical feasibility. To find out more, send us your request for reworking with photos by e-mail to contact@matt-racing.com
I already own a MATT Racing custom jacket. Do I have to have the fitting jacket ?
If you already own a MATT Racing custom-made jacket and the size suits you, and you don't want a fitting jacket, you can of course benefit from a more attractive price. Ask us via chat so we can discuss it!
Can I have 2 identical personalized jackets ?
If you would like 2 identical customized jackets in addition to the fitting jacket, you will benefit from an exclusive price for the second customized jacket. Just ask in the chat.
