Frequently asked questions
How much time do I have to finalize the process ?
After purchase, you will have 6 months if your order was placed during a promotional period, and 12 months outside promotional periods, to finalize your order. In other words, we must have received and validated all the measurements and your model before the end of this period. After that, rest assured, nothing is lost, but your order will be subject to a price adjustment based on the current rates outside the current promotional period, so that you can continue with your order process.
What's the difference between cowhide and kangaroo leather ?
Kangaroo leather is finer, lighter and more elastic than cowhide. A real pyjama! We can save up to 3kg with kangaroo leather, depending on size. On the other hand, it is slightly more fragile to abrasion, but rest assured, if most championship riders take kangaroo leather from us, it's because these advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
What are the differences between our pants models ?
The BLACK Edition pants are only available in standard sizes, and cannot be customized in terms of design or color.
However, you can add your partners' logos (optional)!
Mercury pants are color-customizable only. They have a well-defined design, and your partners' logos can be added (optional).
The ROAD GP pants are 100% customizable in terms of color, logo and design.
On every MATT RACING product, the brand logos cannot be moved or removed.
What is the CE AAA standard that our pants carry ?
CE AAA is the highest standard for protective equipment. MATT RACING is proud to be one of the first brands to obtain this standard on customizable equipment.
This makes your MATT RACING equipment the safest, customizable motorcycle protection on the market!
Can I pay in instalments ?
You can pay for your order up to 4X free of charge on our website via the credit management company Alma or PAYPAL.
What can I do if the size of my customized pants doesn't suit me ?
The 1st adjustment pant of the Zen option is there to validate your measurements and adjust them for the final personalized jacket. It's imperative that you ride with the fit pants on and relax the leather, so that we can give you dynamic, constructive feedback for the final pants.
Despite this, if your final pants do not fit, MATT RACING will take care of the alterations to your pants. Your request must be made within 14 days of receiving your personalized pants, and after you've rolled with them and relaxed the leather.
Some measurements will then be requested for verification and understanding of what has happened, and a full takeover will be carried out in order to resume the necessary adjustments.
Can I have the fitting pants altered if they don't fit ?
These fitting pants are used to validate your measurements and adjust them for the final customized pants. If you'd like to have the fitting pants altered at a later date, we can provide you with a low-cost estimate for alterations.
If my measurements change, can I have my pants altered ?
We can, of course, offer you a quotation for the alteration of your pants or a new pair of pants with an identical design, at a lower cost depending on your needs and technical feasibility. To find out more, send us your request for alterations with photos by e-mail to contact@matt-racing.com
I already own a pair of MATT Racing custom-fit pants. Do I have to have the fit pants ?
If you already own a MATT Racing made-to-measure pant and the fit is right for you, and you don't want a fit pant, you can of course benefit from a more attractive price. Ask us via chat so we can discuss it!
Can I have 2 identical pairs of personalized pants ?
If you would like 2 identical pairs of customized pants in addition to the fitting jacket, you will receive an exclusive price for the second pair of customized pants. Just ask in the chat.
